What is the procedure to obtain BIS certification?

The ISI registration process is as follows:

1. Furnish the requisite documents
2. Go the BIS portal and fill out the application form
3. Download the application form and take its printout
4. Combine it with the hard copies of the furnished documents and deliver them to the BIS office
5. The documents and the application will then be assessed
6. If everything is found to be in order, your manufacturing plant will go through assessment by BIS officials
7. After the assessment, a detailed report will be generated
8. If your manufacturing plant meets the regulatory standards of BIS, you will get the BIS certificate
